Greetings everyone! Still feels strange to be writing "2026"! Or is that just me? Holidays and snowstorms have passed (with plenty more to come), and now we're embarking on a new year here at CE. We're so happy you're with us! 2025 was quite a year and we hope it was a good one for everyone. Let's make 2026 better!

Today, we have a few exciting updates for you.

Firstly, we've given our Terms of Service (TOS) and Community Conduct Rules a fresh makeover. It should now be much easier to read and find anything you may need to reference. Please be mindful of CE's rules. We always want your experience here to be the best one, and we hope everyone can abide by these rules (they aren't hard!). If anyone has further questions about our TOS or CoC, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask!

Secondly, the alliances have undergone a gene refresh! You'll find some old goodies, as well as a brand new marking which folks will probably discover very soon. We look forward to seeing some horses with them!

Thirdly, we're very excited to announce the launch of Barn Restoration Services! As many of you are aware, CE currently doesn't have the capability to implement a "vacation mode" on horse ages, as our coding just doesn't function that way. As a special workaround, we are excited to introduce the ability to revive an entire barn's worth of horses (12 horses!) for the low price of $10, or, if you don't have 12 horses worth, we can individually resurrect horses for $2 each. No matter how old your horses are, they can be aged back to 3 years old, unless a different age is requested. Retirees are included. Please note that this service will change the horse's birth date.

Additionally, some rules will apply with this service, which include:

•   Unless you own the gene, no player-owned genes are allowed on the horse(s). Staff will perform the necessary research to ensure this stipulation is adhered to.
•   Private genes you may have access to are also not allowed on any of the horses to be restored.
•   Cash Shop genes are allowed.
•   Limited to one barn or 12 horses per month.
•   If requesting less than a barn's worth of horses (12), a minimum of 4 horses must be placed in the order.

Welcome to September! The change of seasons always feels like a brand new start, and we at CE would love to give it a really colorful one!

This month, we're spotlighting the Rainbow world! All the shops have gotten some treats and here are some previews.

The Magic Shop:

First, we have lots of new body colors for all your rainbow matching needs! These come in a variety of hues, as well as on different flat bases for an open canvas.

The Cash Shop:

Likewise, we have new body color sets available in the Cash Shop, available for individual purchase, or spotlight packages as a set. Like the MS bodies, the base color is a blank canvas, but with glowing points to really give your horse some pizzazz!

As per popular vote in our Discord (join today!), the September's Melia locks have gone to the salon and received sixteen fun new colors! Collect them all today!

As a final new addition to this month's Cash Shop, we introduce the brand new Scintillae antlers set. These crystallized glowing antlers come in a brilliant variety of colors, perfect for accenting your rainbow horses! Available only in the month of September.

Oh my hot tamales, this was certainly one of the hottest hardest contests we've judged to date! All the entries were really impressively spectacular, and it is with much sweat that we've managed to get a top three -- but let's start with the Honorable Mentions first! Each honorable mention winner will receive one free barn.

SameOldFyreflight with Emberfyre! Despite all the flame, this horse has got quite a bit of pizzazz, too!

Aiyana Moonshyne with Ravi's Feathers! Somehow, the flames on this horse look sleek and silky. Very nice!

Nevernight (happy belated birthday!) with Draco Fire Filly! If ever there were a horse made of molten magma and fire, this would be it. Beautifully well done!

Hello players! We are thrilled to announce the conclusion of the Summer Sunshine '25 Contest! What a tough judging session, all the entries were simply beautiful. We hope you enjoyed the challenge.

Hello players, and hello June! We hope everyone is enjoying the warmer temperatures, maybe even getting some time at the beach, too! With a new month comes new genes, and this month, we give homage to the wonderful sun and the brightness and life it brings.

This month, we're spotlighting the color yellow, a much underused and unappreciated color, so for the month of June, we've introduce the Basics Yellow line for the Magic Shop! Available in June only!

Also, some of you may have noticed already -- the Twirl alliance gene now comes in more colors! Available for the entire summer, they can now be found in every alliance.

Flashback

Look out for an update to a Forest World breed, coming this month! As a preview, let's step back and take a look at the origin Marvel breeds that have made it into Celestia!

First, we have the classic Iarorni, certainly one of the most popular and beloved of the Marvel breeds. Its underwent some minor alterations, but nothing that takes away from its original beauty!

Secondly, the Misae, a later but nonetheless gorgeous Marvel breed!

And lastly, the Norili easily sauntered its way into Celestia in a flashy flutter of flowers!

Hello players! We're nearly halfway through May already, and we've got loads of goodies for you this month. This month, we're spotlighting the Pre-historic world.

First, the all-new Yvaine locks and feathering set! This curly set intertwined with leafy vines come in (mostly) earthy hues and are available for May only in the Cash Shop.

Second, by popular demand, the Siren fins have been combined and are available in the May Magic Shop! 

Finally, the full effect in all its fin-glory!

Last, one of Marvel's original breeds, the Inai, has recently gotten some special TLC. Along with adding some more of its original colors, it's also discovered a new body marking! While most of these genes can be found on the Inai breed, some special variations of these body markings will be available for coin purchase in the Magic Shop -- for the month of May only!

As a small flashback, here are some classic original Marvel Prehistoric breeds, the Inai and the Synessan!

What genetic - body coat or mane/tail - do you find hardest to match, particularly when it comes to Magic Shop genes? (thank you to Chantares for the suggestion)

In addition to the Aromira signature marking and body color, we've made an additional wing set for you to enjoy.

As per popular request from a recent Discord poll, we've placed most of the OG genes in the breed creator, and added a few extra wing sets to the spring Magic Shop!

We apologize for the broken images in our previous newsletter. When posting images in CE (in comments, forums, etc.), direct image links to CE will always work (see below for some new genes in the Celestial Market!), but otherwise, copy/pasted images from elsewhere tends to disappear after a short time. So when attaching images, please use the menu command in the comment box to attach an image with the direct image link (Insert>Insert/edit image) into your post!
